Variety

Suggestion 1: Don't keep just one thing going for a long time; put lots of different stuff in and out. Miki B. Grade 8

Suggestion 2: Always have a good variety of instruments to make sure there is something in the peice everyone will like. Whitney

Suggestion 3: When you have a kind of electronic, robotic thing going, mix it up with some sweet sounding other music (that of course goes along with it) to keep it real and more enjoyible.

Suggestion 4: Have a certain beat or genre in mind before you start your piece. This is will make much easier to find the right sounds and have a flowing beat.

How do we composers and performers create variety in music?
